Dr. Joe Massey is a research agronomist with the USDA ARS - Jonesboro.
Most of his work is farm-based and designed to help sustain water resources with an emphasis on improving irrigation water use efficiency in rice-soybean rotations.
He has broad interests in water conservation, including automation, cover crops, and the use of GIS/RS tools to inventory and manage water resources at landscape scales.
